Step 1

Check your thermostat. Is it set on cool? Is the temperature set lower than the actual room temperature? Are your batteries working? This may seem silly but this is where we start when we troubleshoot no-cool calls.

2

Step 2

Check the ceiling and floor vents- do you feel any air being pushed through?

No- Check the your a/c unit to see if it is running. If the outside unit is not running check to make sure the breaker hasn’t been tripped, the furnace is on and has a clean filter and the filter door is shut properly and securely.

If all is well with the breaker, furnace and filter, the issue could be the thermostat, control board or the wiring. Move on to step 3

Step 3

Check your condenser (outside A/C unit) for any debris, clippings and organic material. If you see this on the side of your unit wash it off.

If you still aren’t getting any cold air call us and we will come out and walk you through our trouble shooting process. We can be reached at 303-588-9146!
